You must also notify Department of Consumer Protection using their online portal.
Per the DCP site:
A sponsoring broker must provide notification to this office anytime a salesperson is no longer under their sponsor. The Department has added a new online service that will help brokers manage real estate salespeople under their sponsorship. The function is called “ Supervision Authorization ” and it is available now on the sponsoring broker's online account. Sponsoring brokers may access this service online at: www.elicense.ct.gov. The sponsoring broker must be logged into their account with their User Id and Password. The sponsoring broker may request their User Id and Password by emailing the following information to dcp.online@ct.gov:
- Name
- License number used to provide sponsorship
- Email address
