How to reset your password (refreshed SmartMLS Member Dashboard)

 

If you forget your SmartMLS password, you must use the Forgot Password? link on the login window to create a new password. Due to enhanced security protocols, SmartMLS staff no longer has access to view or confirm anyone's password.    

 

When you are on the login screen, click the Forgot Password link (beneath the blue Sign In button):

Enter your username (agent ID) and click Submit:

You will be sent a password reset email to the address we have on file for you:

Click the Click here to reset your password link in the body of the email. That will bring you back to the login screen, at which point you'll have the ability to enter your new password:

Your new password must conform to the following:

  1. Cannot be your Login/ID.
  2. Must be 9-12 characters in length.
  3. Must contain a minimum of 2 numeric characters.
  4. Must contain at least 1 symbol (i.e. $, @, &, etc.).

 

Note: you will have to enter the new password twice.

 

After entering your new password and clicking Submit, you will be brought directly to the refreshed SmartMLS Member Dashboard, which is almost identical to the old version of the Dashboard:
